The Pioneers, the All-Star Tournament Team for the New England Division of the North American Women’s Baseball League, is selected strictly from players within the N.E. Division.
2003-2004 REPORT - With an impressive record of 16-3 in tournament play for the 2003 season, the Pioneers won tournaments in Montreal, Quebec, South Bend, Indiana and Augusta, New Jersey. Closing out the season, the Lady Spirit finished 2nd in the nation, after losing a heartbreaking 1-0 game to the Chicago Storm in extra-innings in the final game of the AAU Women’s Baseball National Championship held in Fort Myers, Florida.
Seven Lady Spirit All-Stars have been selected to compete on the first USA Baseball sanctioned women's national team that will compete in Japan and Canada for the World Series and first Women's Baseball World Cup titles this 2004 summer. These players are Ashley Cook, Keri LeMasters, Donna Mills, Judy O'Brien, Alex Sickinger, Amy Stinton and Robin Wallace. The Lady Spirit have started off the 2004 season with a record of 6-2, defeating the Toronto North Stars, Team Ontario, and teams at the Canadian National Team Trials.
