SAINTS WIN NAWBL TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS!

Congratulations to all who competed this weekend!

Special congratulations to the Saints who defeated the Seahawks in the Championship game to win the title in the first annual NAWBL Tournament of Champions.  Both the Saints and Seahawks went into the final game undefeated, after both New England Division teams beat the Canadian Mississauga North team and the East Coast Stars from New York. 

Congratulations to those players who received individual awards for their standout performances this weekend:

Best Offensive Player – Darcy Doherty (Saints)

Best Defensive Player – Ashley Stephenson (Mississauga North)

Best Pitcher – Kat Hannah (Saints)

Most Valuable Player – Emily Hunt (Saints)

Coaches Award for Leadership, Team Play and Sportsmanship – Teri Lynn Herbst (East Coast Stars)

NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP – The Lady Spirit is gearing up for the National Championship held in Fort Myers, FL this November.  We will be holding open practices for the next 2 months.  We welcome any new players who might be interested in playing next season to attend these workouts.  The first such practice is Tuesday, September 14 at 6:30pm at the New Fraser Field in Lynn, MA.
