Lady Spirit Invited to Japan

The Lady Spirit All-Star Team will be traveling to Japan to compete against the Japanese National Team November 13-21.  The two teams will play in several cities throughout southern Japan, completing the series with a final game in the Osaka Dome.  Japan's national team has been a dominating force in the world arena since international competition began in the modern women's baseball community and may be the most challenging opponent the Lady Spirit have faced to date. The Lady Spirit are looking forward to tough competition, cultural exchange and new friendships, during this trip of a lifetime. 

The Lady Spirit are also proud to announce that Karen Kunkel and Terry Donahue, original members of the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League (A League of Their Own), will be accompanying the team on their trip.
